About me

In my current role as a Lead Technical Writer, I flex my "people person" skills to collaborate with product teams, UX designers, and other internal stakeholders on my mission to teach Cvent customers how to use the event management software. I develop knowledge base articles, video tutorials, and in-product messaging. An expert project juggler and prioritization pro, you can also find me documenting new product releases, identifying maintenance opportunities within the knowledge base, delivering content for internal requests, and editing peer article drafts.

I can't help but get excited at the prospect of learning about something new, venturing into the development silo to test, and ultimately turning all those nitty gritty details and nuances into a seemingly effortless map that can guide any reader to their desired destination.

What I enjoy most about technical writing though, right up there with French toast for breakfast, is truly taking ownership of the documentation ecosystem for a product or process. Along those lines, I'm especially proud of the work I've done in designing and executing the content strategy for Cvent's Attendee Hub and Webinar product launches. In addition to scoping the tasks, developing the timeline, and communicating my plan to leadership teams, I created the product documentation from the ground up.
